SUMMARY:Numerical Investigation of Radiation Hydrodynamic Instabilities at
  Scale with FleCSI-HARD
DESCRIPTION:Måns I. Andersson (KTH Royal Institute of Technology), Isaac C
. Bannerman (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Moon B. Hazarika (Universi
ty of Michigan), Akshit Jariwala (The University of Texas at Austin), Jona
than Mathurin (Florida International University), Madela B. Quashie (Michi
gan State University), and Julien Loiseau and Hyun Lim (Los Alamos Nationa
l Laboratory (LANL))\n\nThis poster describes the open-source massively pa
rallel and portable radiation hydrodynamics code FleCSI-HARD (Hydrodynamic
And Radiative Diffusion) used to study radiation hydrodynamics instabilit
ies. FleCSI-HARD is based on FleCSI (Flexible Computational Science Infras
tructure) runtime which enables task-based distributed and portable code t
o be written in single source modern C++. We show good strong and weak sca
ling on CPUs and GPUs.\n\nTag: Research & ACM SRC Posters\n\nRegistration
Category: Technical Program Reg Pass\n\nSession Chairs: Kento Sato (RIKEN
Center for Computational Science (R-CCS)); Anja Gerbes (Georg-August-Unive
rsität Göttingen); and Chris Schlipalius (Pawsey Supercomputing Research C
entre; Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO
 ), Australia)\n\n
