SUMMARY:Foundry Engineer
DESCRIPTION:The person in this role will be a technology development and m
 anufacturing team member working on planning, developing foundry process t
 echnology, manufacturing and characterization for next-generation Lightmat
 ter products. The team will be creating product-specific silicon manufactu
 ring process flow plan, working with supplier and internal core competency
  team such as package design team, silicon design teams on qualifying tech
 nology nodes, characterizing manufacturing processes and monitoring plan f
 or Lightmatter products from product definition through qualification and 
 high-volume manufacturing. It also involves engaging with design and platf
 orm engineering teams in addition to the supply chain organization to infl
 uence the definition of the product and to leverage the capabilities of th
 e ecosystem from a manufacturing process perspective.\n\nResponsibilities\
 nLead foundry process technology development, manufacturing strategies and
  specifications efforts for our highly integrated photonics-based AI platf
 orm and our photonics chiplet communication fabric\nEstablish silicon fabr
 ication process coverage metrics and establish yield expectations and moni
 toring mechanisms\nProvide manufacturing process solutions for integrated 
 digital/analog/photonic/laser devices\nWork closely with Foundry suppliers
  to ensure manufacturing output specifications are being met\nCollaborate 
 with the Design-For-Manufacturing (DFM) team early in the design process\n
 Develop silicon technology and capability roadmap to support Lightmatter p
 roduct requirement. \nDevelop initial product fabrication qualification an
 d execution plan\nEstablish metrics and methodology to characterize and en
 sure reliable product operation at customer sites over the expected produc
 t lifetime\nCollaborate with design and /layout team to coordinate product
