SUMMARY:Senior Math Libraries Engineer – AI and HPC
DESCRIPTION:NVIDIA Math Libraries team is looking for a senior engineer to
  join our development efforts in the area of kernel generation for AI and 
 HPC, specifically targeting matrix operations, JITing and fusions. Around 
 the world, leading commercial and academic organizations are revolutionizi
 ng AI, scientific and engineering simulations, and data analytics, using d
 ata centers powered by GPUs. Applications of these technologies are in hea
 lthcare, NLP, VR, deep learning, autonomous vehicles and countless others.
  Did you know our team develops the GPU accelerated mathematical libraries
  that makes all of this possible?\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nScoping, d
 esigning, and implementing high quality and performance numerical dense li
 near algebra software on GPUs.\n\nOwning the execution of projects involvi
 ng multiple engineers and sometimes teams.\n\nProviding technical leadersh
 ip and feedback to library engineers working with you on projects and some
 times mentor interns.\n\nWorking closely with product management and other
  internal and external customers to understand feature and performance req
 uirements and contribute to the technical roadmaps of libraries.\n\nFindin
 g opportunities to improve library performance and reduce code maintenance
  overhead through re-architecting.\n\nTo be successful in your responsibil
 ities which are by nature sophisticated, you will need to find and explain
  complex solutions, exercise leadership, and coordinate with multiple team
 s to work towards your goals.\n\nWhat we need to see:\n\nPhD, Master’s, or
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related science o
 r engineering field of study (or equivalent experience).\n\n8+ years of ex
 perience in designing, developing, testing, maintenance, and performance o
 ptimization of HPC software using C++.\n\nStrong fundamentals in kernel ge
 neration and composable library design for linear algebra.\n\nLeadership s
 kills in driving software development projects.\n\nStrong collaboration, c
 ommunication, and documentation habits.\n\nKernel generation. JIT focus/ex
 perience desired\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\n\nExperience with p
 arallel programming, ideally using CUDA, MPI, OpenMP, OpenACC, pthreads.\n
 \nGood understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning technologies as
  well as knowledge of GPU (preferred) or CPU hardware architecture.\n\nExp
 erience with low level programming using assembly for performance optimiza
 tion and operator fusion is a huge plus.\n\nExperience with agile software
  development practices using project management tools such as JIRA.\n\nA s
