SUMMARY:Tech Engagement Lead - Model Builder
DESCRIPTION:NVIDIA is seeking a highly influential Generative AI Technical
Engagement Lead to evangelize for, drive, and support the seamless adopti
on and accelerate the performance of NVIDIA's accelerated computing stack
across critical AI model development initiatives with leading AI model bui
lders. As a key technical driver, you will facilitate deep technical integ
ration and deepen our collaboration around NVIDIA's pioneering hardware, s
ystems, and software libraries within their core development pipelines. Th
is role demands a leader who can operate strategically at the intersection
of product vision, advanced technical execution, and high-level customer
engagement, directly influencing model architecture optimization, training
infrastructure investments, and ensuring the deployment of robust, scalab
le generative AI solutions that redefine the state-of-the-art.\n\nWhat Yo
u Will Be Doing:\n\nLead Technical Engagement: Engage with senior technica
l leaders and research teams at AI model builders. Optimize their workflow
s by leveraging NVIDIA's complete stack for their end-to-end generative AI
workflows. Serve as a primary technical point of contact.\n\nDrive Integr
ation: Accelerate the technical integration of NVIDIA's core generative AI
technologies. This includes NVIDIA GPU architectures, DGX systems, high-p
erformance networking (InfiniBand), CUDA-X libraries, NeMo frameworks, and
inference libraries like TensorRT. Integrate these into the training and
inference pipelines of large model builders.\n\nStrengthen Partnerships: S
upport and strengthen technical implementation plans with partner AI engin
eering and researchers. Define clear technical objectives, performance bre
akthroughs, and timelines. Align these with their long-term model developm
ent goals and NVIDIA's AI strategy.\n\nInfluence Product Roadmaps: Represe
nt the software needs of large model builders to internal NVIDIA product a
nd engineering teams. Contribute to product roadmap decisions by synthesiz
ing findings from large-scale model training and inference environments. I
dentify cross-industry patterns and advocate for improvements to NVIDIA's
core technologies.\n\nMaintain Strategic Relationships: Conduct regular ca
dence meetings. Document insights, track progress, and provide consistent
internal reporting on the adoption and impact of NVIDIA technologies.\n\nS
howcase Best Practices: Share standard methodologies for crafting and opti
mizing highly scalable generative AI model development pipelines across al
l stages. Focus on the context of large model development.\n\nStay Updated
: Keep current with the latest NVIDIA hardware, libraries, and system upda
tes. Proactively share relevant insights and optimizations with partner mo
del development teams.\n\nWhat We Need To See:\n\nB.S. degree or equivalen
t experience.\n\n7+ years of experience in technical product or engineerin
g roles. Focus areas include AI/ML, high-performance computing, or distrib
uted systems. Emphasis on core technology integration and partner collabor
ations is key.\n\nExtensive experience working with or developing platform
s that facilitate large-scale AI/ML training and inference workloads. This
includes distributed systems, data infrastructure, and groundbreaking GPU
cluster technologies.\n\nHands-on knowledge of large model architectures
(e.g., Transformers, Diffusion Models). Familiarity with core deep learnin
g frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX), and NVIDIA AI acceleration libraries (e
.g., CUDA, cuDNN, NCCL, TensorRT, NeMo). Understand techniques for model c
ustomization, distributed training, and inference orchestration.\n\nStrong
understanding of compute infrastructure environments. This includes GPU c
luster management, high-speed networking, parallel file systems, and deplo
yment across on-premise and cloud infrastructures. Possess specific unders
tanding of how large model builders operate at scale.\n\nProven ability to
communicate and influence senior leadership across engineering and resear
ch leaders at partner organizations. Link NVIDIA technology capabilities t
o crucial AI model development and business value.\n\nSuccessfully navigat
ed fast-paced environments, taking decisive action to achieve results. Esp
ecially valuable in AI research collaborations.\n\nSkilled at connecting w
ith engineers, researchers, executives, and multi-functional teams.\n\nWay
s to Stand Out From The Crowd:\n\nHands-on experience with large language
models (LLMs), diffusion models, distributed training frameworks, and adva
nced optimization techniques. Ability to prototype quickly and integrate i
