DESCRIPTION:Edoardo Altamura (STFC Hartree Centre)\n\nThe integration of q
 uantum computing and classical high-performance computing (HPC) powered re
 cent examples of calculations at the utility scale with practical applicat
 ions. This talk presents two workflows implementing synergies between quan
 tum and classical computing. First, the Quantum Resource Management Interf
 ace and its Slurm SPANK plugin expose quantum processing units as HPC reso
 urces for seamless scheduling and execution. Second, Qiskit Machine Learni
 ng stands out as a robust library for the large-scale experimentation of q
 uantum machine learning workflows across heterogeneous architectures. Toge
 ther, these case studies illustrate how open-source innovation, supported 
 by public-private initiatives like HNCDI (STFC-IBM), is transforming hybri
 d quantum-classical computing from proof-of-concepts to scalable assets.\n
