SUMMARY:Invited Talk: Multikernel: Kernel-to-Kernel Isolation with Elastic
  Resource Management
DESCRIPTION:Cong Wang (Multikernel Technologies)\n\nModern HPC and AI work
 loads challenge fundamental limitations in traditional operating system de
 signs. Shared kernels introduce unpredictable performance interference, vi
 rtualization imposes unacceptable overhead, and monolithic architectures w
 aste resources on unnecessary features.<br><br>Multikernel architectures a
 ddress these challenges by providing each application with a dedicated, cu
 stomized kernel instance. Combined with elastic resource management, this 
 approach delivers predictable performance through kernel-level isolation, 
 near-native performance without hypervisor overhead, and automatic workloa
 d-specific optimization for both HPC and AI.<br><br>This talk examines why
  current hardware capabilities and workload demands create the right condi
 tions to fundamentally rethink OS design, and presents the architectural p
