DESCRIPTION:Steven A. Wright (University of York, England); Simon Hammond 
 (National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)); and Sascha Hunold (Tech
 nical University of Vienna)\n\nThe PMBS25 workshop is concerned with the c
 omparison of high-performance computing systems through performance modeli
 ng, benchmarking, or through the use of tools such as simulators. We are p
 articularly interested in research that reports the ability to measure and
  make tradeoffs in software/hardware co-design to improve sustained applic
 ation performance. We are also keen to capture the assessment of future sy
 stems. \n\nThe aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers, from
  industry and academia, concerned with the qualitative and quantitative ev
 aluation and modeling of high-performance computing systems. Authors are i
 nvited to submit novel research in all areas of performance modeling, benc
 hmarking, and simulation, and we welcome research that brings together cur
 rent theory and practice. We recognize that the term "performance" has bro
 adened to include power consumption and reliability, and that performance 
 modeling is practiced through analytical methods and approaches based on s
