Presenter

Konstantin Taranov works on modern network accelerators for Azure Cloud at Microsoft. He is a PhD graduate from the SPCL group at ETH Zurich. His research interest is data management in the networked environment. His papers are published in prestigious international proceedings (such as ACM SIGMOD, VLDB/PVLDB, ACM/IEEE SuperComputing, Usenix ATC, Usenix Security, EuroSys). During his PhD studies, he interned at Microsoft research (2017), working on memory allocation for distributed memory systems over RDMA, and at Oracle Labs (2019), working on extending Apache Kafka with RDMA networking.
