Stephen Olivier is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, leading R&D projects that span the areas of runtime systems, parallel programming models, and workflow orchestration. Since 2013, he has served as chair of the Tasking Subcommittee within the OpenMP Language Committee and represents Sandia on the OpenMP Architecture Review Board. Stephen holds a BS in computer science and engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MS and a PhD in computer science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Stephen has been the recipient of a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship, the SC12 Best Student Paper Award, and an R&D 100 Award.
