Biography
Ronald J. Pandolfi, Ph.D., is a Computer Systems Engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the Computing Sciences Area. Ronald is a member of the Center for Advanced Mathematics for Energy Research Applications (CAMERA). He develops scientific software to utilize CAMERA mathematics for data analysis, acquisition, and visualization. Ronald has been developing these software tools in direct collaboration with national computing and research user facility scientists to improve accessibility of applied mathematics to synchrotron users. Ronald also has an experimental soft matter physics background with practical experience in a variety of synchrotron X-ray techniques. His work on data visualization includes aspects of high performance computing integration, live data streaming, virtual reality, and edge computing.
