Nuwan Jayasena is a Fellow in AMD Research and Advanced Development with more than 20 years of experience in processor and system design. He leads a team focused on memory systems research, including improving memory performance and efficiency for AI and HPC workloads. Nuwan holds an MS and a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University, is an inventor of over 85 U.S. patents, and is an author of over 30 peer-reviewed publications. Prior to AMD, he worked at Stream Processors, Inc. and at NVIDIA.
