Tyler Allen obtained his PhD in computer science from Clemson University in 2022. His research primarily focuses on enabling new capabilities for high performance computing (HPC) systems using architecture-focused optimizations, as well as making HPC systems more accessible through development and optimization of systems technology. This encompasses holistic GPU application optimization, heterogeneous virtual memory systems, and power-bounded computing. Tyler recently joined NVIDIA as a senior technology developer engineer.
