Biography
Tom is a Computer Scientist in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a technology enthusiast, programmer, and avid cook. His research focuses on technologies for addressing the ever-growing complexity of high performance computing systems, including job scheduling, task scheduling and programming models. He also explores related topics such as green computing, heterogeneous computing, and resource management.
Tom holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, and a B.S. from Purdue University in Computer Science.
