Simon Garcia de Gonzalo is a Senior Member of Technical Staff in scalable computer architectures and exascale technologies at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL). His work spans key initiatives including the Vanguard Advanced Architecture Prototype program and the Application Performance Team, focusing on performance-portable solutions for emerging high performance computing (HPC) platforms. Prior to joining SNL, Simon was a postdoctoral researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), where he contributed to performance optimization for large-scale GPU systems.
