Timothy I. Mattox

Biography
Timothy I. Mattox is an HPC performance engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise with over 30 years of experience in research, academia, and industry working on supercomputer performance optimization in almost all aspects of a system, from the network stack to GPU acceleration. He has computer and electrical engineering degrees from Purdue University (BSCEE, 1993; MSEE, 1997) and the University of Kentucky (PhD, 2006). His recent work has focused on improving real-world performance of codes on exascale supercomputers. Timothy lives and works in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
