Dr. Tamara Dahlgren has worked in the field of computer science for more than 30 years in a variety of areas, including education, business, conflict simulation, environmental databases, mass hierarchical storage systems (e.g., High Performance Storage System [HPSS]), laser control systems (i.e., National Ignition Facility), foreign animal disease modeling, space situational awareness, uncertainty quantification/scientific workflows, and now build systems. She is currently a member of Spack project.
