Biography
JaeHyuk Kwack is a member of the Performance Engineering Group at Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF). He is a lead of performance tools for ALCF computing resources, and he is responsible for ensuring the readiness of a number of major scientific applications for performant use on the U.S. Department of Energy’s forthcoming Aurora exascale system. He received his BS and MS in engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a PhD in computational mechanics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before joining Argonne, he worked for the Blue Waters supercomputing project at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
