Mohamad Chaarawi is a distinguished engineer in the HPC and AI division at HPE. He is responsible for the DAOS client software stack, the POSIX emulation over the DAOS API, and other middleware libraries, and works closely with application and I/O middleware developers to migrate to the new DAOS storage model. Before that, Mohamad was a Principal Engineer at Intel. Mohamad earned his doctoral degree in computer science from the University of Houston; his research focused on parallel I/O.
