Biography
Bilel Hadri has been a computational scientist at the Supercomputing Lab at KAUST since July 2013. He leads efforts in regression testing, benchmarking, and performance optimization, and helps coordinate strategic efforts for system procurements and upgrades. He also provides regular training to users and maintains allocation project requests for review by the resource allocation committee. He received his master's degree in applied mathematics and his PhD in computer science from the University of Houston in 2008. In December 2009, he joined the National Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a computational scientist, following a postdoctoral position at the University of Tennessee Innovative Computing Laboratory led by Dr. Jack Dongarra. His areas of expertise include performance analysis, tuning and optimization, system utilization analysis, monitoring and library tracking usage, and porting and optimizing scientific applications on accelerator architectures.
