Sandeep Madireddy is a computer scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory, specializing in trustworthy AI for science, focusing on probabilistic AI, energy-efficient AI, and AI safety. As an Eval Co-lead for AuroraGPT and member of the TRAINS Taskforce with NIST, he develops LLM evaluation and safety testing. He leads AI efforts for NSF and DOE projects, advancing AI4Science in fusion energy, astrophysics, HPC, and climate science, and won the 2024 ICLR workshop Best Paper Award.
