Jorge Echavarria is the Group Lead of the Quantum Integration Software (QIS) team at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), and since 2024 serves on the Architecture Review Board of the Munich Quantum Software Stack (MQSS) under the Munich Quantum Valley initiative. He holds both a Master's degree from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (Mexico) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research spans Pareto (multi-objective) optimization, Boolean algebra, approximate computing, design automation, and emerging technologies. At LRZ, Jorge drives efforts to integrate quantum accelerators into HPC workflows, focusing on compiler frameworks, schedulers, and hardware-agnostic abstractions within MQSS.
