Pavana Prakash, a research scientist working on Applied AI at the Systems Architecture Lab in Milpitas, California. Her strong interest in the growing field of deep learning propelled her to pursue her Ph.D. in AI for mobile (limited compute) devices at the University of Houston. Pavana joined HPE Labs in October 2023. The main focus of our team is Heterogeneous Serverless Computing, a workflow-optimized architecture, which operates at the intersection of HPC and AI. As computational workflows and data pipelines grow increasingly complex, our work focuses on enabling higher-level abstraction and fine-grained performance tuning.
