Biography
Heidi Hanson is a researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the University of Utah whose work focuses on advancing supercomputing-enabled science through large-scale data analytics and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is the PI of the MOSSAIC project, which leverages high-performance computing to integrate complex, heterogeneous data for scalable cancer research, and to EHRLICH, an initiative applying HPC and AI methods to enable robust, reproducible, and trustworthy data-driven population health research. Her work emphasizes the use of leadership-class computing resources to address challenging problems at the intersection of computing, data, and domain science.
