J.D. Maloney is the Lead Storage Engineer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) where he has worked for over 10 years. J.D. leads Storage Enabling Technologies group at NCSA which handles all file system design, operations, and performance optimization at the center. He has also written and teaches the Linux Clusters Institute (LCI) HPC Storage lecture series that is held annually at various research institutions.
