Florian Berberich works at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, where he is responsible for European and international cooperations. He is the operations director of PRACE aisbl since 2020. In October 2015 he became a member of the board of directors of PRACE aisbl. He has worked for the PRACE Project Management Office at Forschungszentrum Jülich–JSC since 2008. He finished his PhD in physics at the Technical University of Dresden in 2002. He worked as a post-doc at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, France, before he became assistant to the board of directors at Forschungszentrum Jülich in 2004.
