Arnau Padrés Masdemont graduated with a double degree in Mathematics and Data Science Engineering from CFIS (a center of excellence that every year selects the top 40 students in Catalonia in the fields of mathematics and engineering) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, completing his research thesis in Number Theory at University College of London. During his undergraduate years, he gained valuable experience through internships at the University of Toronto, the Institute for Robotics and Industrial Informatics, and Optiver. He then pursued a Master of Advanced Studies in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, graduating with distinction and being awarded the Bateman Scholarship at Trinity Hall College. During his time in Cambridge, he also became interested in AI Safety and participated in the MARS program by the Cambridge AI Safety Hub. In 2024, he was a Summer intern at Qualcomm AI Research. In September 2025, he rejoined Qualcomm, where he currently works as a full-time AI Research Engineer.
