YuTong Lu, PhD, is a professor and doctoral supervisor, currently serving as a professor at the School of Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen University, and as director of the National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou. She is also the director of the Engineering Software Research Center for Supercomputing under the Ministry of Education and an ISC Fellow. Previously, she served as deputy director of the Software Institute at the College of Computer Science, National University of Defense Technology (NUDT), and as deputy chief designer of the Galaxy and Tianhe supercomputing projects. She is the leader of the Guangdong Pearl River Talent Program Innovation Team, a distinguished expert in the National Ten-Thousand Talents Program, a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance, the leader of the Ministry of Science and Technology's Key Area Innovation Team, and has been honored as a National March 8th Red-Banner Holder.
