Georg Rath is a systems engineer and technical leader specializing in high-performance computing (HPC), data infrastructure, and research computing. With a background in both software engineering and systems architecture, he currently serves as Head of Data Systems Engineering at the Department of Energy’s Joint Genome Institute (JGI), where he oversees the design and implementation of scalable HPC services that support cutting-edge genomic research.
