Biography
Lars Hoffmann is Division Head of HPC in Applied Sciences and Engineering at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Forschungszentrum Jülich. His work focuses on high performance computing, Earth system modeling, and atmospheric science, with emphasis on geoscientific model development. He leads interdisciplinary projects and international collaborations in computational Earth system science and contributes actively to the research community through editorial, review, and organizational activities.
