Katy Luchini-Colbry

Biography
Dr. Katy Luchini-Colbry is a nationally recognized expert in workforce development, and was inducted into the American Society for Engineering Education’s Hall of Fame in recognition of the global impact of her efforts to train STEM students and professionals. She co-directs the NSF-funded CyberAmbassadors project, which provides free, evidence-based training in communications, teamwork, and leadership skills. She also serves as Director of the Engineering Futures professional development program of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society, and is a Principal Facilitator for the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER). In these roles, she has provided professional skills training for thousands of STEM students and professionals at universities and research facilities globally. Dr. Luchini-Colbry is the Assistant Dean for Engineering Graduate Student Services at Michigan State University and has published dozens of peer-reviewed works related to her interests in workforce development, engineering education and graduate student success.
