Dr. Michael Förtsch is the founder and CEO of Q.ANT, a pioneer in photonic computing and quantum technology. He studied mathematics and physics and obtained his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Light in Erlangen, Germany, where he was awarded the prestigious Otto Hahn Medal by the Max Planck Society for his scientific achievements in the field of quantum information processing. After an international research stay at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, he started as a strategy consultant at TRUMPF in 2015, from which he founded the company Q.ANT in 2018. Under his leadership, Q.ANT has sparked significant industry interest with its groundbreaking photonic computing solutions, positioning the company at the forefront of sustainable AI and HPC innovation.
