Sarp Oral
Biography
Dr. Sarp Oral is the section head of the Advanced Technologies Section and a Distinguished Research Scientist at the National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
Sarp holds a PhD in computer engineering from the University of Florida. He joined ORNL in 2006 and his research and development interests are parallel I/O and file system technologies, benchmarking, high performance computing and networking, fault tolerance, scientific end-to-end data lifecycle, workflows, and computing.
