Daniele Gregori (IEEE Member 97548282) is the chief scientific officer at E4. He completed his PhD on online control systems for LHCb detectors at CERN, and worked at the INFN Tier-1 data center. He is an expert in parallel file systems, automation tools, and data tiering.

Daniele joined the E4 team in 2015, bringing knowledge of high performance storage, installation, and management. Since 2020 he has led the E4 European Project Division. He is responsible for the E4 contribution to more than 15 European projects dedicated to the development of new EPI processors, exascale co-development, and HPC green computing.
