Roblex Nana Tchakoute is currently a PhD candidate in High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Mines Paris - PSL University, studying under Professor Claude Tadonki. Before coming to Paris, he completed a Master’s degree in computer science in 2022 at the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon. Before that, he received a BSc in computer science from the same university in 2019. His PhD research focuses on creating novel analytical frameworks to predict the performance and energy consumption of AI workloads, enabling architectural exploration for future GPUs and datacenters. He developed an open-source unified energy measurement tool for high-fidelity system measurements. He is very passionate about energy-conscious scheduling of AI assignments, emphasizing "a priori" job scheduling policies with reliable forecasts of job demands.
