Sreedevi Bhaskaran Potty Thulasi Lakshmi
Biography
Sreedevi B T is a physicist with an interdisciplinary expertise in quantum computing, high-performance computing (HPC), and high energy physics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master's degree in Physics, and currently pursuing Master's degree in Quantum Computing and High-Performance Computing at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Germany. Her academic journey has been driven by curiosity for quantum mechanics and bridging the advanced computational methods with physics and their application in real-world scientific and industrial problems.
Her research experience includes high-energy physics, dark matter modeling, and the implementation of quantum-inspired algorithms into computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and optimization problems. She developed and analyzed Quantum Lattice Boltzmann Method (QLBM) for pollution modeling, exploring the transition from classical-realm to quantum. She has also worked as a team on quantum-enhanced multi-knapsack optimization, solving complex scheduling problems such as ship lock scheduling using QUBO formulations and the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA).

Beyond academic research, Sreedevi is trying to develop a hybrid quantum-classical approaches to energy sector challenges, including optimization in hydrogen production and resource allocation as a part of . She possesses hands-on experience with frameworks such as myQLM and Qiskit, as well as C++, MATLAB, and Python for scientific computing. Her work reflects a consistent focus on bridging theory and application by leveraging quantum technologies to address bottlenecks in HPC workflows, logistics, and engineering design.

Being passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, she is focusing on advancing quantum technologies in aerospace, automotive, and intersection of experimental physics domains while fostering sustainable and efficient computational solutions.
