Ahmad Abdelfattah

Biography
Ahmad Abdelfattah is a research assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK). He received his PhD in computer science from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2015, where he was a member of the Extreme Computing Research Center (ECRC). He then joined the Innovative Computing Laboratory at UTK, where he is currently serving as the principal investigator of the widely used MAGMA library. His research interest include numerical linear algebra, parallel and distributed algorithms, and accelerated computing. Ahmad has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt.
