Biography
Evelyne Ringoot is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics and Computational Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Alan Edelman. Her research aims to abstract the hardware aspects of numerical linear algebra in a user-friendly unified library to democratize HPC resources, with a focus on large-scale GPU-accelerated matrix decomposition algorithms. She holds a MSc Civil Engineering with great distinction from the VUB/ULB Brussels and is a ‘22 Hoover fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation.
