Jun Igarashi is a senior researcher of the High Performance Artificial Intelligence Systems Research Team at RIKEN Center for Computational Science. He serves as a representative in a brain simulation project using the Supercomputer Fugaku and a representative in a research project for brain simulation utilizing large-scale measurement. He investigates oscillatory neural activities in terms of brain function and disease and efficient parallel computing methods for large-scale simulations of spiking neural networks.
