Vinod Yegneswaran is an Associate Technical Director at SRI’s Computer Science Laboratory, where he leads research on network security, wireless systems, and secure distributed infrastructures. His recent work focuses on developing AI-driven techniques for detecting and mitigating large-scale network attacks, advancing the security of 5G/6G and Open RAN architectures, and building experimental systems to enable reproducible cybersecurity research. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in top security and networking venues and was a recipient of the test-of-time award at IMC 2022. Dr. Yegneswaran holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an A.B. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
