Brandon Alexander Burtchell is a 3rd-year PhD student in Computer Science at Texas State University. His research interests include parallel computing on CPU and GPU as well as data compression. Specifically, he is currently working on novel and fast solutions to data compression such as progressive compression. He is advised by Dr. Martin Burtscher at the Efficient Computing Lab.
