MD S Q Zulkar Nine is an Assistant Professor
of Computer Science at Tennessee Technological
University. He received his BS degree in computer
engineering from the Military Institute of Science
and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, his MS degree
from North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh,
and his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering
from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. He also
worked at IBM TJ Watson Research Center as a
Research Intern. His research interest includes Dis-
tributed Machine Learning, High-performance net-
works, network and protocol optimization, Distributed systems, computer
networks, and cloud systems. He is a member of the IEEE.
