Biography
Johannes Langguth is a Senior Research Scientist at Simula Research Laboratory, and an Associate Professor at the University of Bergen, Norway. His areas of expertise cover combinatorial optimization, parallel graph algorithms, high performance computing, heterogeneous architectures, machine learning, and algorithmic game theory. He has designed several parallel graph algorithms and published a series of papers on the performance of sparse matrix-vector operation on distributed heterogeneous systems. He is leading interdisciplinary projects in social network analysis and graph neural networks and he is a PI in the European High-Performance Computing project SparCity.
