Jenq-Kuen Lee
Biography
Jenq-Kuen Lee is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from National Taiwan University in 1984, followed by M.S. (1991) and Ph.D. (1992) degrees in Computer Science from Indiana University, USA.
Prof. Lee joined NTHU in 1992, where he established the Programming Language Research Lab. His research interests encompass optimizing compilers, parallel language designs, distributed systems, and computer architectures. Throughout his career, Prof. Lee has received several accolades, including the Most Original Paper Award at the International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP) in 1997. He was also honored with a Taiwan Ministry of Education award in 2001 and a MOEA contribution award in 2010 for his contributions to compiler technologies in advancing Taiwan's industry sector.
