Silvina Caino-Lores is a Research Fellow in the KerData team affiliated with the Inria Center at the University of Rennes. She obtained her PhD in computer science and technology from the University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain) in 2019. She earned her BSc and MSc in computer science and technology from the same university in 2014 and 2015, respectively. She received the Spanish Society for Computer Science (SCIE)-BBVA Foundation Young Researcher in Computer Science Award in 2020 and the IBM PhD Fellowship Award in 2016. Her research interests include data-centric approaches for interoperability of computing models across the computing spectrum, with a focus on data management for scientific workflows. In this direction, she participates in the French initiative for exascale development (NumPEx) under the Data-Oriented Software and Tools for the Exascale project (Exa-DoST).
