Biography
Abhishek is a Computational Scientist in the Biostatistics and Biomedical Informatics Group within the Advanced Computing in Health Sciences Section at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He joined the group in October 2023.
Abhishek's research focuses on mitigating bias in AI systems used in healthcare to ensure consistent outcomes across diverse populations. He also develops techniques for entity extraction to enhance the accuracy of biomedical data processing. Additionally, he works on constraint-based learning, integrating specific rules into machine learning models to improve their accuracy and reliability in analyzing biomedical datasets.
