Nicholas is a technology worker with a strong foundation in high-performance computing (HPC) and a current focus on AI/ML performance optimization. With years of experience in system administration and infrastructure design, they specialize in building and managing large-scale computer clusters built to support demanding computational workloads. Their work enables efficient, reliable and high-performance environments for machine learning and scientific research. Nicholas has been a key staff member on some of the largest open-science computing platforms in the US academic HPC field and currently supports delivery of AI/ML solutions to hyperscaler cloud providers.
