Jessica is a Ph.D. Student in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a 2024 SIGHPC Computational and Data Science Fellow. She has a Master's in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões - URI Erechim, graduating with Summa Cum Laude. She has different experiences working in different research labs, has worked on two USA national labs (PNNL and NERSC/LBL), and at the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais, in Brazil.
