Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2020, William Loewe contributed for more than 25 years in various roles in HPC applications, I/O performance, and tuning within industry at Cray, Seagate, and Panasas, and in government agencies including the U.S. Department of Energy and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has presented talks and co-authored several papers for technical conferences and HPC research journals, and his education includes a PhD in music composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a MSc in computer science from California State University, Hayward.
