Melyssa Fratkin

Biography
Melyssa Fratkin serves as an education and training officer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), where she supports the Project Management and Communications teams for the EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy (EVITA) project.
Melyssa previously served as the industrial programs director at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at The University of Texas at Austin, developing and managing strong relationships between industry and academia. She also served as the communications chair for the SC20 and SC24 conferences.
Melyssa is also on the board of the HPC-AI Society and on the planning committee of the Rice University Energy HPC & AI Conference.
Melyssa received a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
