Biography
Noah H. Paulson is an Assistant Computational Scientist in the Data Science and Learning and Applied Materials Divisions of Argonne National Laboratory. He investigates the intersection between statistics, machine learning and materials science with applications including batteries, alloy design, and nanoparticle synthesis. His research focuses on the development of statistical and machine learning tools to connect materials processing, structure, and properties, and to optimize devices and manufacturing processes. Some of his recent research areas include uncertainty quantification in thermodynamic phase diagrams and machine learning tools to predict battery lifetimes and cathode properties.
